How Is the Procedure Performed?

Before your procedure, one of our skilled nurse injectors will assess your skin, discuss your aesthetic goals, and create a personalized treatment plan. The treatment area will then be cleansed, and a topical anesthetic may be applied to minimize discomfort during the procedure.

Sculptra® is administered through a series of small injections using a fine needle or cannula. Our expert injectors utilize precise techniques to ensure even distribution of the product, targeting areas of volume loss or fine lines to achieve a smooth, natural-looking result.

The entire procedure typically takes 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the number of areas treated. Multiple sessions may be recommended to achieve your desired results, with gradual improvement visible as your body produces more collagen.

What Is the Recovery Like?

Immediately after treatment, you may experience mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites. These side effects are temporary and typically resolve within a few days. Most patients can resume their daily activities immediately, but it’s recommended to avoid intense physical activities, excessive heat exposure (like saunas or hot tubs), and alcohol for 24 hours.

Sculptra® stimulates collagen production over time, with noticeable improvements appearing gradually over several weeks to months as your body naturally restores volume and elasticity. Results typically last up to two years or longer, depending on individual factors such as age, lifestyle, and skin condition.
