Below are some helpful hints and a list of some items that you may want to bring to your consultation, preoperative, and surgery visits.

Preparing for Your Procedure

Consultation: Reference Pictures

Sometimes, bringing a “wish pic” to your consultation can be a great way to show Dr. Slenkovich your vision. Dr. Slenkovich is passionate about working with you to achieve a natural look that fits your features.

Rhinoplasty consultations: We encourage you to bring a photo of your ideal nose. If you have sustained trauma to the nose and are looking for correction, a photo of your nose prior to the trauma can be helpful.
Breast consultations: It is helpful to bring reference photos that show the size, shape, or look that you want to achieve. Keep in mind that everyone’s anatomy is different, and natural breast positioning, chest size, nipple positioning, and other factors can change how implants look from one person to another. When bringing wish pics for breasts, it is important to try to find some that are close to your frame and anatomy. A large benefit of choosing Colorado Plastic Surgery is that we use 3D technology for breast simulation at your consultation so that you can visualize the implants on your body specifically!
Fat transfer (BBL) consultations: Photos of your ideal size and shape can be helpful tools to facilitate your consultation discussion. Photos of features you dislike can be helpful in the same sense, especially if they can best be seen in certain lighting or angles.
Facial procedure consultations: A photo of yourself 10-20 years ago is a helpful reference to changes you have seen.

Consultations for Revisionary/Secondary Procedures

Revisionary/Secondary rhinoplasty consultations: We encourage you to bring the before and after photos from your previous rhinoplasty or septoplasty. The operative report from these procedures is another valuable resource,
Breast revision/implant replacement consultations: We encourage you to bring your implant dimensions to your consult for a meaningful sizing reference. We also encourage you to bring the results of any recent imaging, ultrasounds, or MRIs performed on the breasts.

Preoperative Appointment

Your pre-op appointment (typically two weeks before your surgery date) is the time to ask any final lingering questions, so write them down and bring them in with you.

Surgery Day

If you brought wish pics to your consultation and reviewed those with Dr. Slenkovich, it can be a good idea to bring those with you on surgery day as well.
